Edward Lee TCC Panel Discussion
The Eye
Was Earned

My eye was not built in one lane.

It came from getting my hands dirty in flowers, gardens, retail spaces, showhouses, events, hospitality, performance, and the kind of work where beauty has to hold up in real life. I have sewn shower curtains, built displays, shaped rooms, staged charitable showhouses, founded a coffee brand with a mission, created botanical retail experiences, sold stories through objects, and learned how atmosphere changes the way people feel.

Before my designs had a business name, I was already studying movement, presentation, timing, confidence, and presence — from dancing and performing to modeling, commercials, brand ambassador work, and years of walking into rooms where the first job was to make people pay attention.

That range is the point. The Creative Cowboy is built from a life of different stories, different stages, different spaces, and different kinds of work — all feeding the same eye.

I see what belongs. I see what is missing. And I know how to make a space, a product, or an experience come alive.

I’m Edward Lee, the designer behind The Creative Cowboy.

I create environments that feel lived-in, layered, and personal — spaces shaped by instinct, experience, and a deep respect for objects with history, character, and presence.

My path has never been traditional, and neither is my approach. Over the years, I’ve built and led creative ventures across interiors, retail spaces, hospitality concepts, events, and visual storytelling — always with the same belief: good design should feel real, not staged.

Through The Creative Cowboy, I work with clients who want something more personal than a trend — spaces that reflect who they are, where they’ve been, and how they actually live.

A curated extension of my design work—objects, materials, and vintage pieces chosen for their ability to anchor a space and tell a story. Each piece is selected with the same eye I bring to interiors and environments.

Start a Project

If you’re interested in working together, the best place to begin is a conversation.

I take on a limited number of projects to ensure each one receives the focus and attention it deserves. Every project begins with an initial consultation — a chance to understand your project, your goals, and how I can best contribute.

If it feels like a fit, we move forward with a clear direction and a shared vision.
